      Interview

Honestly, this was one of the most nonsensical interview processes I've experienced. I genuinely don't understand why companies schedule a screening call only to ask basic questions about a candidate's background and then reject them the next day with a generic "stronger candidate pool" response. If the entire decision can be made after a brief recruiter conversation, what is even the purpose of the process? It's frustrating that candidates are expected to invest time, energy, preparation, and emotional bandwidth, only to receive vague feedback that explains nothing. A recruiter speaking to someone for 20–30 minutes is hardly in a position to accurately judge their full potential, skills, or fit. The whole experience felt like a complete waste of time and gave false hope for no reason. For candidates working under strict timelines, visa constraints, or active job searches, this kind of process is especially disrespectful. If the company already has preferred candidates, it would be far better to be transparent rather than putting people through unnecessary screening rounds. Overall, the process felt poorly thought out, inefficient, and incredibly disappointing.
