Oxford Road interview questions

Interview process coordinated through a 3rd party recruiter. 3-4 rounds, about a week in between each. They were very unclear about the JD and I think they didn’t even know themselves. After interview 2, got a call from a recruiter essentially saying they can’t and won’t negotiate salary and mentioned the cap base and if I’m okay to move forward still. During the next interview the HM revisited the salary question and essentially said that I should be grateful for the number they’re offering and talking down my experience. One of the people interviewing me had never seen the JD nor had any stake in me getting the role whatsoever. In the end got an update that they decided to go “a different direction” considering they weren’t clear on who they wanted it made sense. Disorganized and a tad unprofessional
