      I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PARR (Hillsboro, OR) in Sep 2019

      Interview

      The hiring process was standard phone interview then face to face. The face to face was a pannel, the challenge was of the seven people in the room only two person knew and understood the position. The other five were just reading off the page of questions. It was the most un professional interview I have experienced.

      At The Parr Company, we like doing our interviews with a big group of people who will be working with the person being hired. Often, that means we have people in the room who very much do NOT understand the position, as well as people who are not experts at interviewing others. In the case of Parr, we do only have a couple of people who understand the inner workings of fleet. But we do have a variety of people who need to get along with, and work well with, the person that does end up being hired. We find that a person’s ability to deal with that assortment of people, and respond to some random questions, says a lot about a persons ability to thrive after hire. We are very proud of our company, and the 8-year average tenure of our 950 employees, and we are always open and appreciative of feedback. Good luck with your search.
