I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PDSA (Telford, England)
Interview
The questions were fairly standard and the interviewers were fine at first but as the interview went on it was clear they were disinterested. There was some negative body language given off and one even huffed at one point while I was answering a question. There were a few unwelcomed comments made and when I was explaining my experience and giving an example they commented "and you did that by yourself did you" in a tone like they didn't believe me. Overall I was glad when the interview was over.
Other Assistant Manager Interview Reviews for PDSA
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PDSA (North Shields, England) in Nov 2023
Interview
First was a quick Telephone interview with a random store manager (not the store the vacancy was for).
Second interview was via Teams with a cluster manager which lasted an hour. Questions focused on safeguarding, what you think the role would be, what you know of PDSA, how you’ve changed your approach in managing people to deal with certain issues and situations.

Question 1
Had to do a SWOT analysis of the store for some reason.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PDSA (Barking, London, England) in Apr 2021
Interview
Had only two phonecalls, neither with the actual store manager. First interview took 10 minutes and never actually asked me questions related to my capabilities to the role. Second interview took literally 3 minutes and I was offered the role. Quite underwhelming

How old are you? (odd question as I didnt think this was a tinder date)
