PETA Foundation interview questions

Filled out a long application with essay-style questions, received follow up email with more questions, was then asked to have an UNPAID working interview where I was asked to write several HANDWRITTEN essays about animal rights before spending the rest of the day performing tasks. I was told that I would hear back either way but I did not hear back. Sent a follow-up email a month later and received a vague response that didn't tell me that I didn't get the job. Overall a bad experience for a job that only pays $20/hour.
