I just had an incredibly unpleasant interview experience that I feel compelled to share. The CEO joined the initial call and immediately set a dismissive tone by rudely pointing out a minor slip-up when I accidentally mispronounced the company’s name. His demeanor was not only condescending but also outright hostile, making an already stressful situation feel even worse. Each question I posed was criticized as inappropriate for a first-stage interview, and the meeting ended abruptly with him stating that any further questions could only be asked if the team decided to proceed with my candidacy. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also quite shocking coming from the leadership of a company. It’s disheartening and discouraging, and I would caution anyone considering engagement with this company to be wary of such a toxic environment.
