I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PULSE Pittsburgh in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview was incredibly simple. Only half an hour and very basic questions. It didn’t seem like both staff members were listening the entire time. My impression was that the one staff member was coming up with questions on the fly. She started with an open ended question about myself, so it would have been good to have an elevator pitch ready.

Question 1
If you were struggling with the workload, how would you handle that situation?
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PULSE Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA) in Mar 2017
Interview
First, you do a Web Cam interview with two of the staff if you are away. Then, you get invited and have less than a week to accept or decline their invitation. If you accept, they will start sending you more information about what it is like to be a PULSE Fellow and PULSE Start happens in June. All Fellows meet in Pittsburgh and PULSE covers room and board for the weekend. At PULSE Start is where you interview 7-10 organizations that you want to work for and get matched with one of them by ranking them and them ranking you.
