      Senior Marketing Operations Manager Interview

      Sep 29, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Philadelphia, PA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at ParetoHealth (Philadelphia, PA) in Jul 2025

      Interview

In July, a recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. I wasn't looking for a new job at the time but was drawn to the role and the company. After a standard screening with HR, I had a video call with the hiring manager. They use the WHO method for interviews which I wasn't familiar with. She took a ton of notes during the call and it lacked natural flow. A few days later, I got a generic rejection email. I followed up asking for feedback and then to my surprise, the recruiter responded and said actually you're still in the running, we want you to do the next round of interviews. I met with the CMO who seemed like an excellent leader and someone I'd love to work under. I then spent 12+ hours preparing a case study which I presented to the hiring manager and one other person who asked probably 40 questions throughout the presentation. About a week later, I got a rejection email from the recruiter. I keep seeing them repost this job and I get the gist that they've been looking for a while and keep changing their criteria.

      Question 1

The hiring manager had me talk through my resume and give the 'high and low' at each position, starting with my first job out of grad school.

      Interview

I was actually super interested in this company and this role, but they advertised it as Remote and when I spoke to the recruiter they wanted someone local to the Philly area - and more of a hybrid set up. The recruiter was super nice though. I didn't get far enough in the process to gauge if it would be a good place to work or if their interview process was good or bad, but I thought their salary for the role was higher than most I was seeing in my job search and the recruiter painted a great picture of the company and role.
