It was a long but fulfilling process. I met with seven different people and had different conversations with them. Sometimes I did some system design, a code review. They accommodated my travel and paused the process for a week. Recruiter was prompt with all scheduling. I was also given a google doc with an overview of the entire process.

This was a very disappointing interview experience. They sent me a link to an exercise that required more than two hours to complete. The problem itself, assigning passenger seats on an airplane, was reasonable, and the structure with analysis and coding stages was acceptable. However, the way the process was implemented was very poor. The platform and instructions were not well designed, and the overall experience showed little respect for the candidate’s time and effort. It felt like a one sided process where the burden was entirely on the candidate without clear value in return.
