I applied online. I interviewed at Peer Health Exchange (Boston, MA) in Oct 2024
Interview
The first interview is virtual, set up with a page that asks you a question and gives you a 2-5 minute timer I believe. You get the questions in advance so you can prepare, then the next interview, if you pass, is face-to-face through Zoom. For that, you’ll present a prepared PHE lesson as if the interviewer was your student.

Question 1
Describe a time you encountered a challenge in the workplace, and how did you respond to it?
Why do you want to do this role, and what makes you a good fit?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Peer Health Exchange (New York, NY) in Sep 2024
Interview
The first interview was one-way interview in which I only appear on the screen and it is recorded as I answer the interview questions. Difficulty might be different depending on interview questions.

Question 1
How would your vision for this position be aligned with PHE’s commitment to equity and
diversity?
Peer Health Exchange used a third-party to do their hiring process. I completed a one-person interview where I recorded myself. I then completed two additional interviews with members of the PHE team I'd be working with. Questions were provided ahead of time, which was nice. The recruiter was a bit unresponsive and sent me the questions for the wrong position for the first interview.
Following the three interviews, the hiring consultancy asked for and reached out to three of my references (the final stage of the hiring process). I did not receive a job offer, which is fine, but my rejection email was from the recruiter and the subject was "Thank you for Engaging with us." After investing many hours and weeks into the process, the very impersonal email, as well as the entire interview process, felt very dehumanizing and indicated a lack of value for candidates' time.
