Interview
Phone Screen and take home coding project. I have a very busy schedule and the project was vague enough that it could be minimally done in 30 minutes, or up to a few hours could be spent.
I don’t have hours to spend unpaid on a project, and chose the quickest way to meet the criteria for the project while still implementing clean and readable code.
The interviewer responded in a flat-out rude way telling me “it’s very clear you’re not trying to impress.”
Would not waste time interviewing with this company, given the expectation of time on their project and unprofessional attitude.
