1. Phone call with HR
2. On-site 2 hour interview
The interview process was very smooth and professional. The recruiter was responsive and set clear expectations for each stage.
Initial Phone Screen: A standard call to discuss my background, experience, and why I was interested in the role. The recruiter was friendly and knowledgeable.
On-site Round: This included a discussion with the team lead about their automation framework, CI/CD pipeline, and how they handle flaky tests. We had a live coding session with STAFF Engineer and Director of Quality to build a simple automation script. The questions were focused on Page Object Model, handling dynamic web elements, and exception handling in Typescript/Playwright. It was challenging but fair, and the interviewer gave helpful hints when I got stuck. There was also a behavioral interview about my past projects and how I've collaborated with developers.
The interviewers were all very prepared, and I felt like they were genuinely interested in my skills and problem-solving approach. They made it a very positive experience.
