      Server Interview

      May 16, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Austin, TX
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Perla's (Austin, TX)

      Interview

Walked in with my resume, met the GM, and scheduled my interview for the next day. Started training 2 weeks later. The menu test was the most difficult menu test I've taken. Answers change depending on who is in MGMT at the time, but they required me to know about 40 different dishes and how to prepare them essentially--written of course--with the ingredients.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

We are a very busy restaurant: how do you work under pressure?
