I have a month ago an interview with an employer from Permutive. First-round was an hour interview with 30mins company questions and then 30mins allowed for me to ask. All went well, and I've been sent with a technical challenge that I send over before the deadline with everything delivered and pushed to the repo provided.
I also have sent an informative email to a couple of people from that department who have received a good luck response!
After that part, I have never heard back from the company again, although I've followed up a couple of times afterward. On that chain including everybody ( approx 4 people ) from the supposed department, I have got a response from HR mentioning that they'll let me know the next steps by the EOD.
Then complete silence. Nobody got back to me ever, with even feedback after that amount of work and time I dedicated! I thought that this obviously needs to be improved in the company's hiring process. It is a respect that people input their time and effort! I do not think it takes much to let them know that the position is closed and they are not looking for anyone anymore - as I learned that by looking into job opening myself!
I have a disappointing interviewing process and hope that doesn't happen to anyone in the future!
