The interview process for Persolvent was honestly the greatest interview experience I've ever had! Over a two-week process, I was interviewed and hired for a remote position (in the midst of a global pandemic, no less) and the entire process was seamless and FUN.
After submitting my application, I was quickly contacted by the Director of Talent Development and we scheduled a brief "meet & greet" style phone interview. This was followed by a longer video interview , again with the Director of Talent Development, during which we had a chance to discuss more situational questions. I was able to get a strong sense of what the company was looking for in an employee, and what I could expect in the job role. At this point in the process, I knew it was going to be a great fit, as the company's core values aligned with mine, and the people sounded AWESOME.
After these interviews, I met with the Director of Support & Training (my potential manager), for a semi-informal phone interview. This was followed by what the company calls a "Virtual Job Preview," during which I spent about an hour with an employee in the same job role as what I was applying for. He walked me through what to expect on a day-to-day basis, and I had the opportunity to ask more technical questions regarding the software itself, job functions, and the company culture. It was SO helpful, and really solidified my excitement for the job and the people I would be working with.
The final interview was with Jay Bruber, the CEO of Persolvent. As if I wasn't already eager to join the team, meeting with Jay truly closed the deal for me. He shared his background, the story of how the company started, and his vision for its future. It was not only an enjoyable interview and conversation, but it was so refreshing to see that no one cares more about the core values and team members than the CEO of the company.
I really have nothing but positive things to say about the entire interview and on-boarding process, and after working at Persolvent for nearly a month I can say the same about the actual job and team. This is a family-oriented company that hires based on core values, and every level of management truly cares about your success and happiness. I am so honored to be a part of the team, and if you are considering applying for a job at Persolvent, just know you will be in good hands every step of the way!
