I applied in-person. I interviewed at Pharmasave Drugs (Berwick, NS) in Jun 2024
Interview
Very laidback feel with a curious but supportive manner. The interview is typically short with a focus on how you will be able to get the most out of the job and support the growth of the location.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pharmasave Drugs (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2025
Interview
They reached out to me stating that they had my resume on file from another application and that they would like to learn more about my experience for an upcoming opportunity with Pharmasave via a phone interview. I replied within 30 minutes giving my earliest availability.
I never got a reply, so over the following weeks I followed up several times via email and even resorted to phone calls directly to who emailed me (as a last resort). I left voicemails after each of my 3 calls was not picked up.
Ultimately, I never heard back over the course of a month and a half.
I understand that things can change internally, things fall through the cracks, priorities can shift, life happens — But to reach out to someone inviting them for an interview and then completely ghosting them after said invite is quite rude and inconsiderate of their time and energy.
At the very least, reply saying the position is no longer available.
Interview process was professional and fair. Conducted over zoom. Friendly and easygoing with the questions you would expect about work experience, strengths, areas for growth, etcetera. Overall a good interview.
