      Software Developer Interview

      Jun 7, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Glendale, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PickTrace (Glendale, CA)

      Interview

The interview is a bit different from standard technical interviews. There are still some CS basics like algorithms and structures but they're pretty straightforward and really close to what any regular developer will do on a daily basis. Other parts of the interview actually are more interesting and allow to share the real experience one could have through their career. There is a presentation based on previous experience which could be based on any projects, even open source on GitHub and design and coding session of a semi-real Web API.
