A very polite recruiter approached me for a screening video call and moved me forward to the next step, an interview with the hiring manager. I was only informed that the interview was cancelled 19 minutes into the actual interview and was asked to reschedule. Apparently in the meantime, between being cancelled on and rescheduling the meeting, the position was filled.
