My school career adviser got me an interview for a position as executive assistant, I spoke with the VP for about 10 minutes and she didn't give me any indication of whether or not I was hired for the job. She contacted me that afternoon offering me an unpaid internship. I should have known from the get go this place would be taking advantage of me left and right. I have 3 degrees and a very high skill set. I only accepted the internship to put on my resume, as I was returning from staying at home with my son. The people are friendly, but the job itself is tiresome, tedious, and being overworked and underpaid is the textbook definition of this job.
