I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Plotly (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2022
Interview
Take away test was implementing a graphql backend with nestJs. Interview with smaller team talking about your background and what you want to make sure you are a good fit. In person test One final interview with managers
Very poorly organized. It seemed like the interview went well, I went through 4 stages of interviewing only to find out that I was rejected because I "did not have enough experience" However, if I do not have the necessary experience based on my resume, why take me through all the loops? Did you not go over my resume to see that I don't meet your requirements before wasting a lot of time?
The interview itself was not hard and was fairly trivial.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Plotly
Interview
Interviewers were extremely condescending and rude. Feedback was not constructive and the experience did not make want to work at plotly. The interviewers showed a lack of care towards me as a person invalidating my experiences in a completely unprofessional way.
