Interview process was very odd. I found the CEO to be a bit eccentric with some conman-esque vibes. Has a lot of opinions, some would say polypinions... of which I had general opposing thoughts, but kept them to myself. He doesn't understand programming technologies, infrastructure technologies, platform technologies--he's very confidently incorrect about aforementioned areas. Seems very much like an "idea guy" trying to cash in on the AI train but the AI he's using is just a glorified ChatGPT mule. A bit jarring to see himself parade he's received a Ph.D from Columbia but I can't find him in alumni directories. Perhaps Wallace Lynch isn't his real name, also a bit odd he doesn't call himself Dr. Lynch.
Don't get me started with the Shrute bucks he wants to "pay" you in despite having his job listing offering $150k+/yr. *THIS IS A EARLY STAGE STARTUP FOUNDING TEAM POSITION. STOCK OPTIONS ARE THE PRIMARY FORM OF YOUR COMPENSATION.* Is his verbiage, what he fails to mention here is that it's not the primary form of compensation, it's the ONLY form of compensation.
Run for the hills if you're offered an interview, unless you want a hilarious story to tell your friends.
