Contacted in the middle of summer, spoke to the recruiter, and 10 days later to the hiring manager, and a week later to 3 directors, and 10 days later to the CPO and CTO, and 3 days later to another VP, then back to the hiring manager 2 weeks later, and then told that additional candidates had to be presented to the CEO, and then 3 weeks later received an email that they were going in a "different direction" (which appears to be in shutting down all remote roles and hiring in Folsom, CA). From late July to early October this all played out. Not a great sense of urgency on their part for such a critical role.
