First I had a phone interview which was pretty fast and easy. During the phone interview we set up a one on one interview and I was sent a Core Values Exercise to complete and email back. The exercise was basically to make sure your values match the companies.
After the one on one interview I was offered a third interview with the person I would be assisting and turned it down because their pay was on the low side of the market average for the position in the area and was non-negotiable. The person I interviewed with made me feel like I was crazy for expecting the pay I deserve because it's an "employers market". I was also confused on why the pay would be so minimal considering they talked about the substantial and continual growth they had been experiencing over the past few years.
