I was contacted directly by a company recruiter and scheduled a first-round interview. The conversation was very simple and informal, and I was asked a few basic questions related to the job requirements. It seemed very positive and the recruiter said she would pass my information along to the team and get back to me as soon as possible regarding any next steps. After a week of no communication, I followed up, but unfortunately never heard back.
