I talked on the phone with the director who sounded very impressed with my background and gave me a lot of terrific information about the history of the organization and how it is run. She set up an interview with another individual who turned me away when I showed up. I had my resume in hand, and was to fill out some forms that need to be processed. I was so crushed, actually humiliated that I didn't know what to think. I was scheduled to meet in person with the woman who I spoke with who was actually there at the time. After waiting for over 30 minutes, a young man who was a client advised me that I better come back later. Apparently, there was a disagreement in progress during a meeting which went over its alloted time, and into my appointment.
