I recently interviewed for a position within Pur Brands and completed three stages of the process. The first stage was a fifteen minute phone call. It went well and I was asked to provide my driving history. The second interview was a video call with the Sales Manager. The interview went extremely well and I was invited to participate in a Ride Along (final interview stage). The manager gave me the impression that this was merely a formality. He mentioned that he didn't want to waste my time and he didn't want me to waste the companies time. I got up at 5am to be at the Pur Brands warehouse for 7am . It was three hours of unpaid work. I felt it went very well. Once again the Sales Rep I was in the van with, said that he didn't want me to waste the companies time (I found this strange as I was interested and engaged in the role). I didn't hear anything from Pur Brands for three days. I received an email informing me that they had chosen another candidate for the role. However, after a quick Google I discovered that the role had been re-advertised. I wrote to Pur Brands detailing my disappointment and asking them for interview feedback. I received no response. I feel that Pur Brands lacks integrity as a company and they lack a sense of common decency. I would warn others not to apply for Pur Brands as there is a strong possibility they will waste your time. A couple of points for management: - Do not invite people on a Ride Along unless you are serious about giving them the job. - Do not make out that the Ride Along is a formality. The Sales Manager gave me the impression that I had the job. - If someone is willing to give up three hours of their day for the interview process, provide them with valid and constructive feedback as to why they didn't get the job.
