      Software Engineer Interview

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at QAIT DevLabs (Noida) in Sep 2016

      Interview

It was a 2 day process, with one written and three interviews. written exam was divided into two parts 1. MCQ basically on CORE JAVA(easy ones if the concept is clear) 2. programming question, there were four programs and candidate has to solve any two. Based on the above two test they shortlisted around 25 candidates. first interview was purely technical and according to me the most important one 1. It went for around 40 minutes. 2. And again java questions were asked like 75% of the time and was also asked to write a program in java and then he asked to modify it, some more questions on that. 3. Some questions from your project as well if you have mentioned in your resume. 4. Through out this process your confidence and communication skill will be checked as well, so make sure you are comfortable. After clearing the technical round, you will be presented before CTO(Chief Technical Officer) (a cool guy) 1. He is gonna ask some basic questions like introduce your self and will be checking your confidence 2. again some technical question especially from your project, might test your understanding so make sure you know what you have done in your project and be convincing in explaining things to him. If you have really made everything all by your self then it would be a piece of cake. Once you are done with CTO you will be send to meet the CEO of the company who is another cool guy i have ever met. He is just gonna have some casual talk as candidate has already been through enough of the screening process there is nothing much left. after interacting with CEO you will be given an offer letter after some time. Thats it :) All the best to everyone.

      Interview questions [1]

most surprising question was when the CEO asked me the company of PrimeFaces.
