      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Brisbane
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at QAS (Brisbane) in May 2015

      Interview

applued online and after many weeks was surprise with a response. Recruiter called to make a time for phone interview. Was told to read up on the role in preparation. Passed that as the next day was given link to complete online typing test. Didn't hear for a couple of weeks. Went to a work assessment interview at recruiter. Map route planning, role play, typing test, grammar and spelling test. Had to type notes of messages relayed over headset and relay to recruiter with as much detail as possible. Rather enjoyed the process! Got a call back next day to invite a booking for panel interview. Taken into a room with another applicant and given a task to complete using the diagnostic code book while being timed. The observers took notes. Individually taken to panel of around 5/6 interviewers. Quite a serious tone to interview. Did another role play while all listened this time the caller played a very distressed patient. Task was in 4 mins to answer all questions on sheet esp address. Caller was very realistic! Had to "present" to panel how you plan to live your life around the job. Panel was very thorough and tough. Asked to identify potentially emotionally challenging situations
