I was called in for an initial interview, which turned out to be more of a general introduction where I was introduced to the team briefly, and given an overview of the work they did and their culture, and informed of the company’s many accolades. Then I was scheduled for a working interview, where I came in for a full workday to determine if I was a good fit. I was given a handful of tasks and walked through some new processes specific to the work they made for clients, and completed them in a reasonable time frame to the satisfaction of the team and then went home for the day. Keep in mind, that this was in August of 2020, the position was strictly in-person, and I was the only person (of about 7 or 8) in the building wearing a mask despite the still ongoing pandemic. There did not seem to be any concern or guidelines in place to reduce risk whatsoever. I was informed a few days later that I did not receive the position, and that I would be mailed payment for the time I worked. This payment has still not been received as of April 2021, even after following up in December and being assured that it would be sent. Overall not the best experience.
