Front End Developer - Angular Interview

      Jan 27, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Van Nuys, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at QuikStor (Van Nuys, CA) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Took a two page test. The first page asked questions I was not 100% familiar with - it didn't reflect my background. The second page asked some detailed Angular questions, mainly about routing, observables, etc.. I then met with the CEO and Lead Developer - we had a conversation about my background, future endeavors, current obstacles, etc.. All in all, they were very polite. It was clear they were looking for someone who'd be invested. I asked them if they'd be open to me expanding my skillset and learning new things, they said 'of course'. I'd personally rather work for a long standing company and GROW and LEARN then work for a company that's only been around less than a decade that could sink at any moment.
