Interview
The interview process was really nice, started out with a call with HR to go over your skills/background and see if you are a good fit for the position. That was followed by a management position which mainly was a conversational chat, not very technical but we spoke a lot about the state of the blockchain industry, the key differences between Corda and other DLTs, and motivation about entering the space. That was followed by a technical round where we reviewed a coding question and then had some experience-based questions. The two interviewers were really friendly and helped navigate the question.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at R3
Interview
Short take home test to peer review code
Live coding exercise with 2 engineers
They wanted to video record interviews for additional training purposes and for their records. Personally felt bit unnecessary - this adds more pressure to the candidate + other privacy concerns
Thank you for leaving us your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you didn't have a positive experience during our interview process. We understand a live assessment can be daunting, so we've put a lot of thought into a technical assessment which we feel measures a candidates technical ability whilst at the same time is still engaging and interactive. Thank you again for your comments we will certainly take these on board

Interview
Overall the interviewing process is very relaxed, the persons involved are very helpful and engage in the interview.
After the a HR review of my CV I was contacted for an initial HR screening and to discuss the role in more detail, and also my experience and how it is relevant to the potential role.
At the end of the call a piece of code was sent to me and I was expected to perform a code review within a week or so. Write comments and suggestions.
After passing this stage, a technical interview was setup where I was expected to code live with a web camera and screen sharing with a senior engineer. This lasts approximately 1 hr. A small piece of code / requirements are given to you and you have to outline how you plan to solve the problem and implement the relevant code, tests included. Be prepared to answer some follow up questions.
Following this interview, a followup interview was arranged with a team lead, this more of a formal interview. I was asked to discuss my previous experience. Competency questions. The role is discussed more and was a good opportunity to ask about the role and company in general. Lasts about 1 hr
Team lead identified that I would be suitable for a slightly different role with specific team, another interview was arranged with a new team, very similar format to the previous.
Overall great process and people, recruiter even took time to catch up and follow up every step and take feedback. Great HR team.
