      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Apr 2023

      Interview

Received email from the HR asking for to provide several times slots to interview with the hiring manager - followed by a video interview with the hiring manager and 1 engineer- The interview started by asking to introduce myself then followed by the manager asking some basic techincal question in analog electronics -then the other engineer started to ask some question in regards to controls and SMPS- it was clear from the question that the engineer had a specific pattern of things that he was expecting answers for - he just wanted a circuit to be drwan in a specific way to be aligned with his mental visualization of it - so he ended up modfying a correct version of the circuit that i've drwan to be aligned with his thought process- then he started to ask questions that seemed open ended or with very little understanding on what he has in mind for the next step- but at the same time he was going through a sequential thought process that he wanted you to follow - but with vaguness in how the questions were asked - it was also clear from the the engineers responses/comments that he has an attitude and self entitled- you could also feel the arrogance in his comments - and would put an arougment that is logically faulty with very quite tone and then he would ask you to chose between two oversimlifed answers that are both wrong . Overall negative experince.
