I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at RTX (Aurora, CO) in Mar 2015
Interview
Just one phone interview. Interviewer was very friendly and knowledgeable. She described what I would be working on, what my typical day would be like, and the skills I would need to be successful. She said that they would have a decision in just a few days. All of the questions were pretty easy and there wasn't really anything technical. Overall a great experience.

Question 1
Mostly just questions about my experience with C++ and Java. Nothing technical
Short, mostly behavioral, no hard technical questions other than describing my past experience to more details than is on my resume. Felt like a formality and that an offer was already on the way.

Question 1
What experience do you have in software engineering and sensor systems?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RTX in Sep 2016
Interview
Interview was mostly behavioral designed to see how well you work in teams and if you have the capacity to lead. If you've been through one behavioral interview you've been through them all just about. With that being said make sure you anticipate these questions and have bullets on your resume that already answers these questions. The less the recruiters have to ask the better. As a defense contractor Raytheon will require you to be able to obtain a security clearance. If you are not a US citizen your best bet is to look at private sector jobs because it is very hard to progress in a company such as Raytheon and be foreign.
