It was a "working" interview. Otherwise meaning that there wasn't anyone else at the store beside the manager on the shift. I immediately understood the type of work expectations from the fact that a proper interview couldn't be conducted apart from working.
The manger (nice) asked me questions while at the register, checking out purchases, letting customers into the changing room, and talking to customers. I was asked about my previous work experience, how I would describe myself, and my available hours.
There are no benefits and the pay was minimum wage. It seems to be a good first job for high-school students or college students, but not long term.
