I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Ramp in Oct 2023
Interview
Applied online. Received Coding assessment on CodeSignal. It provides a sample/practice session. It was 1.5 hours assessment. You can choose any language you want. There was only 1 coding question, with 4 levels, each could be unlocked only by completing the before.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There was only 1 coding question, with 4 levels, each could be unlocked only by completing the before. Question was "Industry Coding Framework". Where you have to use concepts of OOP to write classes for example a bank: to create account, schedule payment etc. NO Leetcode questions. I was able to solve only 3 levels. My score was 450. Got a rejection email within 5 hours of completing assessment. No feedback was given.
Got an OA from Ramp for a software engineering internship role. It was non-DSA, which was refreshing. The assessment had 4 questions that built on each other progressively, so each answer fed into the next. Felt more like a real engineering task than a LeetCode grind. Would recommend preparing for practical, systems-oriented thinking over algorithm memorization
OA with progressive file system in Codesignal. Each stage builds upon the other stages, 4 stages in total. Implementing various extensions to a record storage system including time to live etc. Full scored oa and then rejected.
