The recruiter lost interest when he confirmed that I was currently unemployed as most of his clients will not higher someone who is not currently working. He told me that there was little need to move forward given my circumstances. After our interview the recruiter then sent an application requiring that I provide him with a list of all my prior managers and a salary history. The application request seemed very odd and a bit unnecessary since it was established via our phone call that his clients would not consider someone not currently working.
