I received an interview after a networking session. The first round consists of a general review of applicant's background, skills and technical assessment. Afterwards, there is a take home assignment which you will have to present your solutions to a design challenge
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Reliable Robotics (Mountain View, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Had two phone screens with recruiter and VP of Engineering prior to virtual technical session with the other mechanical engineer. For on-site, had to design a mechanism and present the design, then was challenged with other technical and systems design problems. In general the process was fun although I put way more effort into the mechanism design than I probably should have.
