Renaissance Food Group, LLC interview questions

I was a referral from another employee who was a family friend. Once she referred me, I sent in my resume and a week later received a call from the HR manager who phone screened me. She called me back the next day to schedule an in person interview. I had 2 interviews. The first was with the HR manager and HR Intern, the second interview was a few days later with the Controller of the company. Once the Controlled gave the HR Manager her a yes on hiring me, I was given a call and started 2 weeks later.

Did a phone interview then they invited me in for an in-person interview with three individuals all in the HR department. In person interview was average except for one very odd question (see below). They admitted that they do not notify candidates if they don't make it to the next round, but I could call to ask. I didn't hear back from them and was fine with that except that I was curious if they had any feedback for me. I emailed the HR Manager and never received a response. This kind of bothered me because it felt like they had little respect for the time that I took to come in for the interview. So I tried calling and left a voicemail for the HR Manager and still never received a response. I thought this was very unprofessional of her and reflect negatively on Renaissance Food Group. Hopefully she doesn't treat all the prospective talent like so, or her pool of prospects for future positions will start to shrink.
