Interview
Had an interview recently. Very good experience with the interviewer. It was someone from the Scientific Operations Team (not HR). Some great questions. Unfortunately, didn't make it to the next rounds.

I interviewed at Retro Biosciences (Redwood City, CA)
Interview
Process included an initial recruiter screening followed by two hiring rounds. The entire process took approximately two to three weeks, and the company does provide sponsorship opportunities for OPT students.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at this company
how do you see yourself in 5 years from now
Questions about resume projects/work experience
After a strong, engaging interview with both the hiring manager and a senior scientist, I was unexpectedly ghosted—no follow-up, update, or even a formal rejection. Disappointing, especially since they came across as thoughtful, professional, and genuinely lovely people.
