Had a call with a recruiter and then had a technical screen with 2 engineers. Despite doing well on the tech screen they decided not to move forward with me. They contextualized the screen as a collaboration, but there was no collaboration - don't be fooled. They must have had some hidden criteria they were looking for but didn't express, it was unclear. The screen itself was rather straight forward, so it's unclear where I could have done better. I would avoid interviewing with these people as it's not clear what their success criteria is and they won't share it.
