I am writing to express my frustration with the recruitment process at Rhondos Company. My recent experience was highly disappointing and unprofessional, leading me to question the company's overall approach to hiring.
I initially applied for the position of Marketing Specialist, but the job description seemed to contradict the actual role, which appeared more aligned with a Marketing Manager position. The salary range listed was notably low for a managerial role, which raised immediate concerns.
The recruitment process took a turn for the worse when I was asked to provide a portfolio. When I inquired about what exactly was needed, I was left confused and ultimately sent a video trailer for my upcoming podcast, hoping it might be relevant. However, the recruiter then requested more examples of my work. I explained that I could only share past projects from previous employers due to confidentiality agreements with my current employer. Unfortunately, this response was met with silence.
To make matters worse, the interview was canceled just an hour before it was scheduled, citing a vague reason about the recruiter's sudden meetings with the CEO. No effort was made to reschedule, which was both unprofessional and frustrating.
Overall, my experience with Rhondos Company’s recruitment process has been filled with red flags. The lack of clarity, poor communication, and abrupt cancellations are indicative of a disorganized and unprofessional hiring process. I would advise others to proceed with caution if considering opportunities with this company.
