Group interview - 10 people - general questions related to the position and the Company : What do you know about the brand? Have you had any experience dealing with difficult customers? Have you got any experience managing/training other people? What would you do if a customer approaches you with and wants to return an item? What are the trendy colours at the moment? Have you noticed what's on the shop window display? First, each one of us had to answer the same question, then we were separated in groups and we had to brainstorm and present our answer in front of everyone. Then we we're send on the shop floor, every group in different department and we were asked to pretend to be customers and see if the sales advisor will manage to answer our questions professionally. I actually made up an interesting task for her - I asked her for a pair of shoes I had seen on the website but couldn't find in the store and the girl could've been more helpful but I guess she panicked because it was too obvious that we were there on purpose. We shared our experience with the interviewer and had to explain what in our opinion could have been done better. Then the interviewer collected our documents and asked us to write down our availability and contact details.

Pretty simple, wanted to know about availability, any previous experience within the retail industry and what about the company I knew about. Had some basic experience questions that the star technique comes in handy for!
