I interviewed at Royal Household (London, England)
Interview
Okay, had to present a product using a prompt and had to do a quiz on the shop, so google that and then had to do a one to one interview, management were quite strict about holidays though which let me down
Was a delightful experience with lots of interactivity amongst other like minded peers
Different than most interview experiences however was a little nerve wrecking considering having to conduct a practical sales pitch
I applied online. I interviewed at Royal Household (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
First round of interview was online and pretty straightforward, asking about career history, motivations for applying, etc. Invited for a follow-up interview in person which also required a pre-prepared task. I was collected from reception 15 minutes after my interview start time (despite arriving early!) which led to the interview being cut short. The interview itself was fine, covered technical knowledge as well as soft skills. I was told I would hear back within a week but a couple of months went by with nothing, despite following up multiple times - all emails requesting an update were ignored. They eventually informed me that I was unsuccessful. I requested feedback from the interview which was also ignored. Disappointing to be treated like this after multiple interviews and tasks. If a candidate makes it to the final round of interviews, it is polite to offer them feedback and let them know they were unsuccessful. If this is reflective of how the organisation treats their employees, I may have made a lucky escape!
