      Marketing Executive Interview

      Apr 9, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RushOwl in Apr 2025

      Interview

Interview felt exploitative. The founder asked vague, open-ended questions without providing any clear context or expectations beforehand, then remarked that he “didn’t get much” from the session — which came across as rude and dismissive. Really gave some insights on what the team culture is like under him. He later followed up with a request for a second-round interview that involved conducting market research on AI tools, to which I declined to proceed further. Quite obvious that it seemed more like an attempt to leech off ideas from candidates than a genuine assessment.
