I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Rylo (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied for the Sofware Engineering position as an out of state candidate so my process was unique. My experience consisted of the following:
- 1hr Initial technical phone screen with an engineer
- 1hr HR/Resume deep dive with Director of Talent
- 1hr cultural screen plus coding challenge with co-founder
- 1hr coding challenge with engineering lead
The final step in the process would have been an onsite interview, which would have required flying out. Although I did not make it to this stage, I had a very positive experience throughout the entire process. Everyone that I interacted with was extremely bright yet humble. Questions about company challenges and goals were answered with transparency. I believe that Rylo fosters a community of trust and hard work within the organization. I am excited to see what Rylo has to offer in the future.
