S&A Communications interview questions

Brief 5 min "meet and greet". Asked some questions about current job and briefly described job applied for. Did not give much detail on the company itself. They stated that I would receive a call the next day by 5pm if I was selected for a followup interview which would be job shadowing.

I applied online and was contacted by HR the next day to set up an interview at their office. The first round interview was with the owner of the company and it was a pretty standard interview. I got an offer that day to come in for a second interview in which you shadow an employee for the afternoon. This interview started at roughly 1pm and lasted until about 8:45pm. During this shadow, you follow a sales rep or an account manager throughout the Kansas City suburbs and try and get consumers to upgrade or switch their current cable/internet provider to the new AT&T Uverse package. The person I shadowed was very friendly and asked typical interview questions throughout the day, while at the same time assessing if they thought I would be a good fit for the position and the company. I was told that the point of the entry level position was to train you to become a manager within about a year, so that you would eventually have your own team of reps that you work alongside with and train them at the same time. Overall the people were very friendly, but this position was not right for me and my career goals. If you are open to getting paid based on your performance and the number of sales you make, then this position may be right for you.
