I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SLB in Oct 2015
Interview
Met the Schlumberger recruiters at my college’s fall career fair. I was offered an interview on campus about a week and a half later. I was asked mostly behavior and prior internship exposure questions. Many questions were asked based off of my resume. For example, they asked one question about how my past internship evaluated my performance and what the company’s comments were towards my performance. For this position they will ask how many accounting classes you have completed in college. After that question they then proceeded to ask me a question about the accounting equation.
I applied in-person. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at SLB (Douala)
Interview
I had 3 different interviews: 1 interview with the HR department, and 2 technical interviews. 1 with the country controller and another one with the Regional Finance manager. The first interview was mainly about behavioral questions: What do you know about the company type, how do you handle pressure, describe a conflictual situation, etc. The 2 other interviews were about my understanding of accounting principles, my understanding of business trend analysis, etc.
