Unstructured and quite informal.
I wasn't offered the role, I had to chase the interviewers myself for an update. In the end someone from HR responded. The reason for not being appointed was that they felt I didn't have enough experience for the role. I had bags of experience doing exactly the same role in two other companies including a global organisation. I wasnt upset that I didnt get the role but I believe I wasnt given honest and constructive feedback. I emailed back asking if I could get a call to discuss this further, unfortunately i had no response. Considering this was for a learning and development role I am really surprised that more thought and care hasnt been given to providing feedback - especially because L&D should be there to motivate and encourage people even if is the difficult stuff. My advice would be to review your interview process and get back to your candidates within the timeframe promised. All candidates appreciate constructive feedback. My best wishes to the person appointed and I wish Industry Forum success too.
