Got a phone interview and it was quite strange. The guy told me there are three parts for the phone interview. The first part is to explain the company, the second part part is to explain why you are a good fit for the company and ask questions, and the third part is to warp up everything. For the first part, he took like a good 20 mins to explain their method of QA, the company, and what the company believes in. However, when I was asking questions, he asked me if I already had QA experience. I had and he told me the company will not hire anyone with any sort of QA/QC experience because that would taint their "training" and the trainee would refuse to learn. It doesn't matter if you're willing to learn. Once you have some kind of experience, you're a lost clause. He apologized to me, swiftly ended the phone call, and said he would talked to HR about this. One would have doubts on what kind of shady methods this company is practice in terms of the people they're trying to hire and their objective. It was quite a baffling interview.
