      Customer Success Manager Interview

      Oct 27, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Amsterdam
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at STAEDEAN (Amsterdam) in Oct 2024

      Interview

I have a good first interview with HR. She mentioned that she will get back to me to schedule the second round, and she forgot. I have to contact her again after a week (first red flag). My second interview was with the hiring manager, he was friendly, but the whole conversation focused mainly on the product that I work for right now, he almost didn't ask me any questions to find out if I could be a good fit for the role. I have never heard anything from both of them, not even to get rejected. A bit of a disappointing experience, and unorganized process.

      Customer Success Manager Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at STAEDEAN

      Interview

This was a disappointing interview experience! At the start, there were technical issues with the interviewer’s camera, and there was limited communication about what was happening, which led to a delayed and somewhat unclear beginning. This can of course happen, but the communication was very off from the start. During the interview, the format felt very one-sided, with a series of rapid questions and no follow-up or interaction. This made it difficult to have a meaningful conversation or fully demonstrate my experience. Overall, the interaction felt impersonal and disengaged, which left a negative impression of the process. I believe a more structured and communicative approach would significantly improve the candidate experience.

      Interview

We were supoused to meet online last week with recruiter from London. I left super important meeting (that was prolonging) to be at home on time at scheduld hour. I was waiting 15 minutes for somebody to let me in to the room through the link provided and nobody was there. I tried again for the next 15 minutes, in the meantime I sent 2 emails to recruiter saying I was waiting for the meeting. Nobody replied to me, nobody sent an explanation. So, I lost an opportunity as a good candidate for the job because somebody was not able to connect to the interview at the scheduled hour? Disrespectful and not fair at all! Maybe it is for the best, as it is not a good sign from a company to be honest...
